Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I was teaching music lessons, exercising 3 days a week, playing violin and viola frequently.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I take care of elderly parents. My 91-yr-old dad got vaxxed and boosted. He got covid anyway.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

The day after, I had severe fatigue and body aches. Two days later, I had burning pain in my legs and couldn't step into a car without help. Went to urgent care that Saturday night. First fall occurred in urgent care parking lot. Was found to have no patellar reflexes. Was admitted to hospital. CT and MRI of back were normal. Staff neurologist did NOT test patellar reflexes. Was discharged with a diagnosis of back strain. Within a day I could not stand without a walker. Eventually I was falling even with a walker. My retired pathologist uncle said I was having a reaction to the shot and needed to get to my doctor. Was admitted to a second hospital for lumbar puncture, which revealed Guillian-Barre Syndrome. Had 5 days of IVIG treatment. Amassed medical bills in excess of $250k. Staff neurologist at the second hospital was the same guy as at the first hospital. He never came near me the second time, just sent his minions. Had three weeks of PT. I still have bone- crushing fatigue when I overdo. I still have intermittent burning pain in my feet. Some days, I can't stand the touch of shoes. I cannot be vaccinated for anything ever again, per my doctor.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
