UPDATE ON 12/27/2022:
It has been 19 months since my vaccine injury. I have spent thousands of dollars seeing many different doctors and have learned so much about the neurology of my body. I have found 2 neurobased doctors that have helped me reclaim alot of my life back. I would say if I had to put a number on it I am about 85% back to normal. I still have daily dizzness and the occassional stomach issue. I have learned to live with it and accept it but at the same time use the exercises I have been taught to help get through it. I am by no means whom I was before but I am slowly getting there. I like not having to go to multiple doctor appts weekly and now just do monthly check ups. I hope one day to have a complete day symptom free I know that day will come. I limit some outdoor activities that I do still but I am slowly getting back to hunting and fishing with my son and working outside.
ORIGINAL INTERVIEW ON 01/04/2022:
Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
Life was normal other than I still had minor symptoms from a traumatic brain injury. I worked a lot outside. I had never had any dizziness or other issues. I only went to the doctor once a year for a physical.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
Immediately after the vaccine I felt warm and dizzy like I was going to faint. About an hour after I had the vaccine, it caused a severe allergic reaction. My throat swelled shut and I ended up in the ER.
Since that day, I have had dizziness, stomach issues, brain fog, light sensitivity and vision issues. Some symptoms have lightened up, but come and go.
Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?
Life flipped upside down. I tried to work for a couple weeks and ended up needing to take a few months off of work. I see multiple doctors, some of which just wrote me off with no diagnosis. I found one or two that understood what I was going through. The symptoms tear me down so much that I end up crying several times a week to get through it. I struggle still - 8 months later, and just keep up enough at work.
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:
Most regular MD doctors write me off with anxiety issues. The best medical doctors I have met are functional private practice neurologists. The regular large medical facilities just say see you later. The private practice have more experimental techniques and tried different things.
Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
I reported to VAERS and about 3 months later I got an email that said thank you for your submission, That was it. Our local hospital had no concern about my adverse reaction.
Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?
Functional Nuerology has helped. My symptoms have very slowly gotten better but I really measure it month over month.
The best techniques that worked for me:
Electric shock therapy while performing body movements.
Eye therapy with grounding techniques.
Q: What do you wish others knew?
I wish others knew what could happen with the vaccine to healthy people. I have had Covid and I would take that 100 times over what I am going through now. These neurological issues could end up lasting years or a lifetime for all anybody knows.
