Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
I was fine and living a normal life as a new grandmother.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
I got tinnitus the day after my second dose.
Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?
I have been debilitated by anxiety and depression due to the tinnitus. I have been suicidal and hospitalized. I am still dealing with the financial repercussions and I miss my old self. I miss spending time doing things I love to do, and spending time with my family. They have all had to take care of me since March!
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:
My GP, My Psychiatrist.
Diagnoses: Tinnitus, General Anxiety Disorder, Major Depression
Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
I reported it to VAERS- no response
Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?
I take benzos. I have tried anti depressants and they have not helped.
Q: What do you wish others knew?
I am upset that I did not know this could be a side effect. It was reported in the trials but I did not know until after I got tinnitus.
