First Dose of Pfizer on 04/12/21

Los Angeles, California

35 yrs old

Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I was a life-long athlete. I was a healthy and fit 35 year old man working 50+ hours per week in the film industry; and I still managed to sneak in 2 hours of quality training every day.

I’ve devoted my life to keeping physically active and have kept a strict physical regimen in place for over twenty years. I figured the more fit I was, the more I could achieve over the weekend. Nearly every weekend I would either be cycling through the Santa Monica mountains or backpacking in the Eastern Sierra. Unfortunately, all of that has come to an end thanks to Pfizer.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

My decision to get the vaccine didn’t come exactly by choice. Living in LA county, they were quick to require proof of vaccination to enter certain establishments. Work required us to be vaccinated in order to work in the office, and I just knew over time the pressure to become vaccinated through various means of coercion would just increase over time. I didn't trust getting it, but it looked like I needed to. I had family members who have compromised immune systems, and I hadn't seen them the whole pandemic.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

My life has been ruined by the Covid vaccine. Prior to the vaccine, my life looked entirely different than it does today.

My first dose of the Pfizer vaccine came on late March of 2021. The usual symptoms followed immediately after. The following weeks I felt like I had a cold. All of my workouts were poor, no energy, increased heart rate, just all around sluggish. I didn’t think anything of it, because at the time work was extremely hectic. My second dose came on April 12th. The following day I was extremely ill. I had fever, chills, cold sweats, uncontrollable shaking, headaches. It was pretty hellish, but I didn’t think anything of it. I just figured I’d ride this out and be back to training in a week, might as well just plan for some recovery. On April 15th, I woke up feeling pretty good. I thought I’d hop on the bike and take a lap around Griffith Park up to the observatory, a quick 20 odd miles. Just a few steps out of bed, and that’s when it hit me, I was having a heart attack. Slumped against the wall I slowly made my way back to bed in denial of what was going on. After the pain didn’t subside, I managed to stubbornly get myself to the hospital. In the emergency room, I was grateful that I was rushed in immediately. I was set up with a bed and chest X-rays and a bedside echo immediately, with blood draws shortly after. The doctor assured me it was just anxiety, as they’ve been seeing a lot of it during the pandemic, I laughed at her. Within the hour, she returned looking rather concerned, and she told me my Troponin was elevated and other tests are looking abnormal. Confirming that I did indeed have some sort of myocardial infarction, they sent me up to the cardiology ward for a few nights stay.

In the cardiology ward, I did more blood tests, another echo, and a CT angiogram. I was diagnosed with myocarditis from the covid vaccine. If some virus, disease or exposure could cause myocarditis, they ran it. I am extremely grateful for how through the infectious disease doctor was, the cardiologist on the other hand not so much. Now that we had a diagnosis, you’d think that we would have some kind of treatment plan in place, nope. I was left bedridden in increasing pain, unable to breathe, talk or sit up to move for weeks. A month of this went by, and I was finally able to start to advocate for myself and seek out another doctor. It took about 3 months of being bedridden before I was able to see a doctor that wasn’t negligent and had a plan that extended beyond “huh, don’t worry about it”. Fortunately, I responded quickly to treatment. Unfortunately, I relapsed the moment we reduced medication, landing me once again back in the cardiology ward for a few days. After this relapse, my current cardiologist passed me off to yet another cardiologist, and I was passed off again to another shortly after that. When all your labs are normal and you’re still struggling to do something as simple as brushing your teeth or showering, no one wants anything to do with you.

Outside of being shuffled around several cardiologists, I was also passed around rheumatology. Since my vaccine, I have had a positive ANA, a sign of some sort of autoimmune disease. It made sense to me, as my immune response is what caused the myocarditis in the first place. After seeing several rheumatologists with most of them saying, well yeah something is wrong but I don’t know how to help, sorry kid, I finally was able to get set up with my current rheumatologist, who ran extensive testing, leaving no stone unturned and was able to diagnose me with some sort of lupus like autoimmune disease targeting my heart.

It took about 8 months to get the treatment we suggested 3 months in. Shortly after beginning treatment, some issues started to resolve, mainly the incredible fatigue and crippling brain fog. All of my cardiac symptoms are continuing to persist, unfortunately. I’m extremely grateful for the hard work my current doctors have done to fight with insurance to make this happen. Everything else has failed, and this is next to the last line of defense we have to treat this. For over a year, I struggled with doing even the most basic of tasks, like breathing or getting to the bathroom. I became completely reliant on my support network around me. This vaccine, whatever you want to call it, has stolen everything from me. My health, my career, my future, my finances. I find it appalling that here you have this mandated medical product, with no long term data of any kind, hidden safety data that was only released due to an FOIA request, with no safety net for those who will inevitably have adverse reactions to the drug, no liability at all for any party involved, and they cast those of us suffering from the effects of this under the rug. It’s not just our lives being destroyed by this, it effects everyone around us as well, and all we get is being called liars and conspiracy theorists. It’s pathetic how our government has colluded with the pharmaceutical industry to put profit over lives at such a scale with such aggression never seen before. If this were any other drug, there would be immediate recalls, calls for investigation and lawsuits, yet here we are still being silenced, censored and ignored. Pfizer lied, people died. It’s that simple.

While in the recent months, well over a year into my injury, I have started to make some minor improvements, my health is still extremely fragile. I still cannot work or do something as simple as walking around the block. I know I’ll never recover from this, and I know I’ll never be able to return to the activities I lived for. All I want is my life back, the ability to be active and the joy of pushing myself to see how far I can go. I want the ability to be able to provide for myself and not have to rely on those around me for even the most basic of tasks. I want some accountability for the hundreds of thousands of lives destroyed by these shots.

Q: Please tell us about any tests, diagnoses, and/or medical care:

Celltrend, MRIs, CT scans, Echocardiograms, X-rays, numerous cytokine panels, Cardiac Angiogram, Admitted to hospital 3 times, IVIG, Myocarditis, Pericarditis, POTS, Autoimmune connective tissue disease.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

I had to report it myself to VAERS. They contacted me once but that was it.

Q: Are there any treatments we should know about that helped or hurt your health?

IVIG has helped.

Q: Have you had Covid before?

Never

Q: What do you wish others knew?

If you get hurt, you're on your own. The government just wants to sweep us into the trash.
