Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

I was trapped in a long Covid situation. Before Covid, I was healthy and worked as a hairdresser, doing 25-30 haircuts per day on my feet, running to and fro. I caught Covid in February 2020, and it ended in June 2020. I was in good shape, then got it again in October 2020. This time it shot into a rare complication called erythema nodosum. I was in horrible pain, swollen all over, etc. I got the vaccine.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I got the vaccine to stop my rare reaction to the Covid virus. I got erythema nodosum in response to the virus. Nothing fixed it. The doctors gave me steroids to control it, but it only partly worked. I was in pain every day. I could barely walk. I had breathing problems and more. We decided the shot might fix my reaction! It did. One day later I was completely well. It was astounding. Then 28 days after the second shot, I got horrible back pain, arthritis, and light degeneration in my spine. My sciatic nerve is inflamed. It never stops. I can’t work. One haircut sends me into pain. I’m too old to retrain.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

28 days from shot 2, I had horrible low back pain and brain fog. It has eased with herbs, but I can’t stand long. I can’t clean house, I can’t cut hair, I can’t sit at the computer. My life is pain. Now, as of September 2021, my feet and legs are going numb. I’m deeply worried I might be going into neuropathy or MS. I’m on a waiting list for neuro tests.

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

The quality of life is very low. I can’t stand for long periods. I can’t sit at a computer for long periods, and I can’t do the career I did for 30 years. I’m unable to do hobbies. I’m basically fried.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

The charity clinic I go to has decided I had long Covid. They have put me on a wait list to see a neurologist. However, they ignore any part of this that might be vaccine injury. They just stack it all in the long Covid diagnosis. Possibly because they gave me the vaccine.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

No. I don’t know how.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

I use anti-viral herbs. They seem to help. L-Lysine, lemon balm, ginger, garlic, dandelion, burdock, elderberry, St. John wort, vitamin D, B, Omega 3, oregano oil, Fenu, thyme, tart cherry, artemisia, and arnica montana sublingual pills.

Q: Have you had Covid before? What was your experience if so?

Yes. In February-June 2020, it was basically like walking pneumonia. Then again in October 2020, it was lighter, but I still had breathing problems that were scary. I also developed erythema nodosum, which is an autoimmune response to the virus. It’s rare. They treated it with steroids, but it was intractable, and they couldn’t fix it. I was in pain, swollen all over, barely alive.
