Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

Before I got the vaccine, I was a normal 42 year old man. Both my wife and I were walking three to four miles every day. I was able to play with my two year old granddaughter and function in most ways. Was I in top fitness? Well no, but good enough in my opinion.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

I had minimal reactions to the first shot with a sore arm for a few days. Within 24 hours of the second shot I started having chest pains during exertion (climbing a small hill during our walk) and fatigue. The chest pains lasted for around a month before going away. The fatigue on the other has steadily gotten worse since then. I noticed that I could no longer walk as far. My body would shut down like I was hitting a wall and crashing. It was all I could do to stumble my way back to the car. My wife would have to help lift my legs into the car. When I got home I was done for the rest of the day. Sleep did not regenerate the energy like it used to. Each week I noticed that I could not go as far without crashing. Now six months later I have given up walking and only do the minimum amount of effort for most things. Walking across the room or trying to play with my granddaughter for a few minutes wears me out and sends me right back into a crash.

Q; What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

My life has been ruined by this vaccine. Most activities are too draining and I have to rest all the time.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

When the chest pain set in, I went to a cardiologist. The cardiologist ordered blood work, an echocardiogram and a treadmill stress test. Those test all came back normal. I went to two neurologists that ran their own tests which also came back normal. I went to an endocrinologist that reviewed all the tests run before, and concluded that this was depression and wanted to prescribe me anti-depressants. None of the doctors I have seen were willing to listen about possible vaccine damage. The closest I have come to an answer about this came from a coworker who worked with a guy that had very similar symptoms. This guy had a bout of the flu three years ago followed by the same fatigue symptoms I was experiencing. He could have been describing my symptoms without even knowing me. He has a condition called ME/CFS and they believe the flu started it for him.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

I tried to report to VAERS, but the system is not as easy to use as it could be.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

For me the only thing that has helped is pacing or trying to stay within the energy level that I have, and make wise choices on what kind of things I do.

Q: What do you wish others knew?

I wish that others would know that there are other people out there going through this. You are not alone and there are people that know what you are going through.
