Read Karen's Book:

Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

Very active, running half marathons

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

I wasn’t planning on getting the vaccine because of the rush to push it through. My nurse practitioner encouraged it, and I knew several people that got the vaccine without any issues. I gave in to peer pressure and got the shot. Almost exactly 12 hours later, I began to feel sick and have still not recovered. My biggest problem is oxygen levels that go up and down all day, every day. I’ve seen my levels drop to 67 percent. Along with that comes chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness and headaches. I’ve been prescribed oxygen only to have it taken away twice, because medical supply companies don’t know how to bill without a more common diagnosis (their words, not mine.). I’ve been blown off by more doctors than I can count. I’ve also been called crazy and offered a psychiatric consult. I feel let down by the entire medical community. January 18, 2023 will mark 22 months for me. Everything is the same. I still need oxygen. I still can’t walk to the mailbox. I can’t participate in any physical activities anymore, and no one knows why. I can’t even go on a plane anymore to see my elderly parents, because the medical supply company refuses to issue me a portable oxygen concentrator, despite having a doctors order. I feel like a prisoner in my own body.
