Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

It was good. I was a senior in college getting ready to graduate in May of 2021. I was planning my future.

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I only got one dose. I started having symptoms after 2 weeks. I felt a bit pressured by school and the media to get vaccinated.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

Two weeks after, I started having all over body tremors. Since then, I now experience a hinge like feeling in all my joints. They pull and tighten and get stuck. My muscles tremor, and I don't have the same strength.

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

I am depressed, I only sleep 4 or 5 hours a night, I have withdrawn from friendships and my life is on hold, because no one can tell me what's wrong. I have felt dismissed by the medical community. All they have wanted to do was give me anti-anxiety medication. I have had many tests, but there are other tests that no one is willing to refer for some reason. I have even tried getting into the Mayo Clinic with three different referrals and was denied all three times! I feel like no one cares. Doctors have made me feel like I am crazy and/or lying. I used to golf, draw, play music, and it's all difficult now. I want someone to listen and take my symptoms seriously and want to try and help me figure out what's going on.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

I have seen 3 neurologists, 2 rheumatologists, and an orthopedist. I have had an EMG, two MRIs of the brain, Cat scan of the chest, and many, many blood tests, which all show extremely high Ace levels since the shot. I have had movement tests. I have not had a scan of the soft tissue/muscle or a muscle biopsy or a spinal tap, which I feel are necessary at this time.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

I filled out the paperwork for vaccine injury with the health and human services department with the US government. No one wants to hear vaccine injury. They just don't know what to do with it.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

Nothing. They tried a blood pressure medication, anti-anxiety medication and one round of a strong antibiotic.

Q: Have you had Covid before?

No

Q: What do you wish others knew?

I wish someone in the medical field would take my symptoms seriously.
