Original interview on 11/12/2021:

Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

Active, energetic new mom of one baby girl who was 9 months old at the time of my first shot. My family and I race cars, I worked out, did yoga, kayaked and hiked and worked full time as an executive assistant to two VPs at our local hospital.

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

My name is Heather Padilla, 27 y/o female. No prior health concerns or conditions besides general anxiety disorder which has been managed for years with daily Sertraline. I received my second Moderna vaccine on January 25, 2021. 24 hours post shot, I presented with an episode of shortness of breathe, chest tightness, dizziness, tremors, tachycardia, elevated bp and paresthesia. Symptoms Passed once given Benadryl. One week later, symptoms started again. I was sent to the ER. They did ekgs and a chest scan. Nothing was found and I was sent home. Two days later another episode occurred and I was sent to the ER. They performed more EKGs and MRIs. I was told to follow up with cardiology for potential arrhythmia. I wore a Holter monitor for a few weeks. Average resting heart rate was found to be 100 bpm. My primary care physician diagnosed me with a hyper adrenic immuno response to the vaccine and agrees that my symptoms are a result of receiving the Covid vaccination. Currently taking a beta blocker, and H1 and H2 anti histamines, Zinc, A multivitamin, vitamin C, vitamin D3, probiotic, turmeric, And a TCA. My symptoms still persist and include tingling and burning sensation on the face, arms, fingers, and legs, internal vibration, facial numbness and tremors, tremors of the hands, dizziness and blurred vision, panic attacks, rashes on chest and arms, headaches and fatigue, dizzy spells, chest pressure and shortness of breath. I am a new mom to a wonderful one year old daughter who gives me the strength to make it through each day. Praying these symptoms pass and that we find some answers.

Q: What was your life like after you got the vaccine?

I’m slowly recovering and getting better each day but have to keep reminding myself that things aren’t the same. I have to take things slower and have faith that I will heal and get better

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

They all told me it was an arrhythmia or POTS but then my docs starting seeing more cases of people with the same symptoms post vaccine and knew it was a reaction to the shot.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

VAERs and CICP. I received emails that they received my report. That’s it.

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

Prayer, CBT, support from family, yoga, taking things slow…. It’s hard but I finally had to stop googling my symptoms.

Q: What do you wish others knew?

This is real. The vaccine is hurting people. Covid is real but this vaccine is not the answer. We were all believers at one point.
