First Dose of Moderna on 05/13/21 Lot #017C21A
La Mesa, California
41 yrs old
Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
Awesome! I had tons of energy. I have 3 kids and work full time as a wildlife biologist and botanist. I also do art as a hobby. I have never been sick in my life, except for a minor cold sometimes.
Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?
I got pressure from work, pressure from family, pressure from friends, pressure from co-workers. It was brutal, and I gave in. It was the greatest mistake of my life.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
I got the shot after work on May 13, 2021 (worst day of my life). The nurse told me I was so lucky, because it was the last Moderna shot for the day. Within an hour I was tired and had horrific diarrhea. I went to sleep and woke up and felt an elephant on my chest. I also felt like acid was running from my left arm to my chest over and over and over. I took my temperature, and it was 106 (I don’t even know if that was correct). I called the doctor saying what happened, and she was listing off side effects. I couldn’t talk, because she wouldn’t stop listing minor side effects, and I think she hung up on me. At this point, I don’t remember, because I got so weak so fast. I just passed out and could only feel acid burning from my left arm to chest over and over and over, but I couldn’t move. I couldn’t even reach for my phone. I was so weak. All I felt was acid running in my body, but especially from my left arm to my chest. When I eventually woke up, I went to the doctor and said, “my chest was on fire.” It was on fire. It felt like acid was burning inside. The doctor did an EKG, and said I was fine. I felt relieved and went home but soon after, I couldn’t breathe and went back to doctor. The doctor checked my breathing and chest said I likely had costochondritis/pericarditis (but not from the vaccine because no medical literature says that). She prescribed me naproxen which didn’t help. As time went on, I just got worse (couldn’t breathe well, heart palpitations, felt like I was on fire). Shortly after that, I got shingles, had horrible left side pain, blue hands and blue feet, couldn’t eat because it hurt so bad, horrific diarrhea, feeling that I was freezing in some areas and on fire in other areas. I mean I literally had every organ inflamed inside my body at some point. One doctor told me I had issues with my spleen. I went to the doctor, ER, and urgent care numerous times and got numerous tests, but they always seemed to test for the wrong thing. For example, I had horrid pain and burning, so they tested me for E.coli, which I didn’t have. My left side hurt so bad so they wanted to do more x-rays. One of the doctors thought I broke a rib when I did not. I finally got sent to specialists, and I finally found functional medicine, but that was almost 6 months after my issues started. Functional medicine literally ran over 500 tests. I was immediately diagnosed with high yeast, extremely low IgA (which is my immune system), extremely high calprotectin (which usually indicates IBD), inflammation issues and thyroid issues (6 months after the shot). Overall, I struggled for a year with heart issues, lung issues, gut issues and overall inflammation issues.
Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?
I am so much better today (over a year later). I feel back to myself again thanks to functional medicine, acupuncture, help from gastroenterologist, urologist and maybe just time.
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:
The following issues are described in my western medicine medical records - pericarditis, costochondritis, shingles, abnormal stools, abdominal pain, diarrhea, dysuria, elevated calprotectin, chest pain, abdominal pain and palpitations.
My western medicine doctor made a note in my chart early on, “New onset cardiovascular disease, new onset asthma. Also due to chronological association there could be some association with covid vaccine, although I am not aware of the symptoms related to covid vaccine in the literature thus far.”
Basically, these issues are not related to the vaccine according to her, because medical literature doesn’t say that.
I had numerous tests including CT, numerous x-rays, blood tests, urine tests, heart monitors, EKG’s, Cardiac echo, stomach ultrasound, colonoscopy by all western medicine doctors. Once I got to functional medicine, I got a lot more tests that actually found a lot more issues, but this was almost 6 months after my issues with the shot started.
I got most of my help from functional medicine, acupuncture, gastroenterologists and urologist.
Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
VAERS- I got a note back that said they received it.
Q: Are there any treatments that have helped or hurt your health?
Over the course of a year, I tried numerous things that seemed to help me a lot. My functional medicine doctor, acupuncturist, gastroenterologist and urologist helped the most. Functional medicine ran numerous tests. Based upon my results, I was prescribed a lot of these things including: lymph massage, acupuncture at least 1 time a week, massage, heating pads on my stomach and chest, vitamin D, NAC, grapefruit extract, organic my kind turmeric booster, juicing turmeric root and pineapple, black seed oil, wheatgrass shots, high doses cranberry mannose for burning, pectinate, magnesium, electrolyte drink, repairvite SE, adaptochrine XL, peppermint gels, enzymix pro, tegricel colostrum, kefir, zinc, milk thistle seed, organic psyllium husk, spermidine, zeolite, L-carnitine, vitex berry, black elderberry, resveratrol, trizonal glutathione, Co-Q10, nettle, vitamin C, Nordic naturals fish oil supplements, coconut cult probiotic yogurt, quercetin, lemon balm, chaga tea, ginger tea, blue spirulina, green tea and organic celery juice. I also did intermittent fasting, stayed outdoors as much as I could and did a lot of yin yoga, because I could not move much initially. I stopped eating sugar, all pasta and all bread. I ate an anti-inflammatory diet prescribed by functional medicine doctor.
Initially, I couldn’t even eat because my gut issues were so horrific, I did a lot of organic juicing at home with veggies and with the supplements functional medicine had me take. Pumpkin, sweet potato and squash calmed my stomach a little.
Creams I used externally that helped my chest and stomach included oregano oil, jojoba pur O3 ozonated oil and Irwin CBD balm with arnica and blackseed oil.
Q: Have you had Covid before? What was your experience if so?
Maybe -- I lost my sense of smell and taste for two days about 9 months before getting the vaccine -- It was weird. I have never had symptoms like that before. At the time I couldn't get tested, because the tests were not available.
Q: What do you wish others knew?
This shot was the worst day of my life, the worst mistake I have ever made and my greatest regret. I personally feel like people are not getting the same doses. I know I am healthier than some of my friends, and they had no symptoms, so that makes no sense.
I have learned some major lessons about the horrors of big pharma. You really learn when you feel the fire burning inside your body. I am grateful to be alive and awake to these horrors now. I wish that others didn't have to go through what I did, especially innocent children and babies. I can’t imagine any child going through what I went though. If my story helps protect even one child, it is worth it.
