Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?

Happy, healthy mom to 2 adult children and wife. Active at church and with friends and family. Love my dogs!

Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?

I got the vaccine to stay healthy

Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?

2 weeks after second dose, I began having a pain in my right back which moved into my right abdomen area. Several weeks after it moved into the left rib area. Two months later I started having pins and needles feeling in my left hand. By weeks end all extremities affected. I have had burning and tingling all trough out my body.

Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?

I am still suffering from nerve pain daily and have become anxious and depressed. I don’t leave the house except to go grocery shopping or to church and of course doctors appointments.

Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

It took me a while to connect this to the vaccine but it is the only event that had happened. I don’t think my doctors believe me. I was told by one neurologist that I must have had shingles but I never had symptoms and have been vaccinated (possibly another culprit as I had 2 covid and 2 shingrex shots within 3 months). Seeing a second neurologist Monday! Frankly I have lost all confidence with medical professionals. Also started seeing a naturopath but when I told him I may have been vaccine injured, he just blows it off.

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?

I have personally reported both covid and shingrex adverse reactions to VAERS

Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?

Symptoms have not improved and I am desperately looking for some help.

Q: Have you had Covid before? What was your experience if so?

No covid that I am aware of

Q: What do you wish others knew?

Do you research and know the risk. I really believed that I was doing a good thing to keep myself and others safe. Now I have put this burden on my husband and kids and I have great regret.
