Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
No medications, no vaccines since 1950's when we just had a few. None as an adult, to flu, etc.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
Felt a small explosion at deltoid, then a bolt of lightening into armpit down to pinkie. 5 days later, large lymph node(?) at inner elbow, 5 days later, the red, swollen, tingly, hands, then tingly back, legs, face, etc. Then weakness on my left side. I feel GRATEFUL that my symptoms are these and not what I am witnessing, but I want to be a number so they know there are many more. I was an acupuncturist, retired , but would not be able to massage a body or hold a needle with precision. I would not be able to work. I am only 3 months out and hope that it doesn't get worse. I want to support those suffering so much greater..... Thank you for what you are doing.
Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?
My hands are tender, difficulty with hot or cold, my left side is weak, but I am retired and not much is required of me. I spend all day trying to figure out how to treat it and what to do about it.
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:
My immune and inflammation tests came back negative,,,,,my doctor had compassion but couldn't think outside the box. I am sending her much of what I discover, but not sure what she thinks of it. I am working with an Ayurvedic doc, and my alternative friends. No relief yet, we all don't know how to treat this situation. It's a stealth bomber that has its own pathway so it doesn't fit old paradigms for treatment.
Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
I wrote a report and asked my doc to send to VAERS as they said it would have more weight from the doc, she told me to talk to the hospital where I got the shot, but was hearing people say VAERS was a lot of work with no response so I didn't bother. I have tried posting and sharing but have found VERY few people that haven't had a problem to be interested.
Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?
Symptoms may be slightly worse, but I am hoping the colder weather is causing that. I am taking a myriad of herbs and nutrients, but no relief yet.
Q: What do you wish others knew?
That hearing about the problems of people suffering does not negate the vac. It seems to be an either/or. They get defensive and its gets lost.
