Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
I was a healthy, full time touring musician. Happy, with lots of friends.
Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?
I had long haul Covid and I had read it could help end the symptoms.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
Transverse Myelitis (spinal/brain damage). I had a complete autoimmune attack of my entire body.
Q: What is your life like now, after getting the vaccine?
I cannot work, I cannot play live music. I can hardly be around people. It's horrible, it's beyond horrible. I am slowly healing but it feels like my life has been stolen from me.
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:
In the first seven months, I was incorrectly diagnosed with Guillain Barre, but a neurologist finally discovered that I had Transverse Myelitis. Complete autoimmune attack of my entire body. I have received exactly ZERO medical care from seeing over 10 doctors/specialists.
Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
Facebook, and people believed me luckily, but I had some backlash for sure.
Q: Is there anything that has helped, and have your symptoms improved?
Magnesium, lions mane mushroom, liquid omega 3, physical therapy. My symptoms have improved very slightly.
Q: Have you had Covid before? What was your experience if so?
Yes. I had long haul Covid for 11 months and it was pretty intense, but nothing compared to this.
Q: What do you wish others knew?
I wish people know how many were being injured, that doctors aren't helping us and there is no compensation for us.
