First Dose of Moderna on 08/04/21
New Jersey
38 yrs old
Q: What was your life like before you got the vaccine?
I was a busy makeup artist about to start IVF to start my journey into becoming a parent.
Q: Would you like to share your reasons for getting vaccinated?
I got the Tdap, because my sister in law had a baby.
I got my Covid vaccine to keep my job.
Q: What was your reaction, symptoms, & timeline?
First, I got a Tdap vaccine, and then I got Moderna. 6 weeks after Tdap, my dentist started noticing I was grinding my teeth so bad that weeks later I cracked a tooth. Not thinking anything of it, I got one dose of Moderna... this made everything worse. I developed a mild form of lockjaw. My body started mimicking a mild form of tetanus. I began having numbness and tingling in my hands, overall heaviness, dizziness, shortness of breath, and it felt like someone was squeezing my arms 24/7. I have been to 40 doctors and have been dismissed left and right. I wasn’t able to get fully vaccinated against Covid, and it cost me my career, and I had to put my IVF journey on hold. My quality of life is garbage… I just want to find someone that can help.
Q: Share your experience with any medical care and any diagnoses you have received:

Q: Was your reaction reported, and what was the response?
40 doctors, VAERS, Boostrix manufacturer
Q: Are there any treatments we should know about that helped or hurt your health?
Acupuncture gives me 1 day of relief.
Q: Have you had Covid before?
Nope
Q: What do you wish others knew?
That people can have adverse reactions and to be cautious.
